About Me

University of Michigan

In the fall, I will return to Michigan to study Computer Science in the Sequential Undergraduate/Graduate Studies (SUGS) Program which is an accelerated masters program. I plan on taking rigorous courses like CSE 585: Advanced Scalable Systems, CSE 592: Foundations of AI, and CSE 598: Computer Architecture.

Recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Computer Science with a minor in Statistics. I accomplished this in only three years and was able to do so while maintaining a 3.94 GPA.

In my time at Michigan so far, I have taken many CS courses covering a wide breadth. Some of these courses include EECS 445: Intro to ML, EECS 482: Intro to OS, EECS 487: Intro to NLP, EECS 471: Applied GPU Programming, and EECS 491: Intro to Distributed Systems. And through these courses, I got to work on many different projects. My most impressive project was designing and creating a search engine from scratch in C++ in a group of 7. Some of my other achievements are:

  • Creating a CNN from scratch in cuda
  • Implementing Paxos in go
  • Creating a simple network file system
  • Researching the effectiveness of adversarial training in NLP contexts
  • Performing transfer learning with a CNN from scratch
  • Implementing a OS page system
  • Creating a consistent and sharded, distributed key/value storage

I also delved further into the world of data with my stats minor by taking courses such as TO 414: Advanced Analytics for Management Consulting, STATS 413: Applied Linear Regression, and STATS 306: Statistical Computing.
