§ 02 - OUTSIDE OF WORK

Outside of work

What I spend my time on when I'm not at a keyboard for work.

Traveling

I am an avid traveler and have traveled to 23 countries. My most recent trip was to India and Japan. I enjoy learning about new cultures and meeting new people.

Taekwondo

16 years of training and a fourth-degree black belt. I was the President of the University of Michigan Taekwondo Club in 2025 (Travel Coordinator the year prior), where represented the university at numerous collegiate and state tournaments. I also led beginner classes and earned the Student Leader award from the Eastern Collegiate Taekwondo Conference. I previously worked as a Senior Instructor at UMAC Briarcliff.

Water Activities

I grew up on the Hudson River and enjoy sailing, kayaking, and swimming. I've worked as a Sailing Instructor at the Croton Sailing School and as a Lifeguard for Heritage Management Services.
